Building Updates and Rededication to God
On Sunday, May 7th, members of the Battle Lake Alliance Church took time to rededicate their newly renovated sanctuary space to God. This was done with gratitude for the marvelous works God had done in the past and with anticipation of where God is leading. The renovation consisted of replacing the pews with chairs and replacing the old carpet.
Some of the Scripture that was read to mark this occasion:
"May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our fathers; may he never leave us nor forsake us. May he turn our hearts to him, to walk in all his ways and to keep the commands, decrees and regulations he gave our fathers." - 1 Kings 8:57-58
"You are my God, and I will give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." - Psalm 118:28-29
Pastor Derek Mansker offered a prayer of dedication:
"May lives be nurtured and grown by the Holy Spirit. May the Gospel change lives in this place through all that takes place here and may the ministry of the pulpit, musicians, and the prayers of your people prepare your church for that day when we are with you forever. Oh God we surrender our agendas, our preferences, our wills to you. Protect the integrity of the message preached and protect the unity of your people. This all for the Glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."
The time then concluded with the Lord's Prayer.
