Church Leadership: Compassionate, Caring, and Committed to Christ
Elders
Elders are responsible for the spiritual oversight of the church family. Jesus gave elders to tend his flock as under-shepherds until he returns. These men meet once a month to pray for the church and seek the Lord for spiritual direction for the church.
deaconesses
Deaconesses assist with the care for various needs in the church family. They encourage and minister to the women in the church.
The leadership team
Robb Emerson
The Battle Lake Alliance Leadership Team consists of the Senior Pastor, the Elders, and three at-large members: Robb Emerson, Ruth Anderson, and Becky Fulmer.
The Leadership Team jointly oversees all areas of this local church. The Senior Pastor serves as Chair and an elder is elected as Vice Chairman each year.
The focus of the Leadership Team is administrative, making sure that finances are handled properly, communication is handled within to the various committees, calendar activities are approved, and decisions are made to stay on task. Everyone has a vote and a voice on this team, and each is a valued member.

Becky Fulmer
Clerical hub of the church, Brenda Biederman has served as the church secretary since 2002. The screen slides and the bulletin you read Sunday morning? Thank Brenda! When she’s not answering the phone or other secretarial tasks, almost half her time is spent accounting. She also serves the greater community when she fields calls from donors to the semi-annual blood drives held in Battle Lake.
