Praying for Our Nation

This morning I am reflecting on the National Day of Prayer and the significance of it.  Over the years America has been drifting away from a Biblical foundation to a more secular one.  History tells us that when generations forget God they are devastated.  Here's an example: 

"After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the LORD nor what he had done for Israel."  Judges 2:10

The United States is well on its way to that same place.  This should cause us to pray.  Pray for eyes to open to the truth.  Pray for our nation and those in leadership.  May God intervene and reverse the path we are on for His glory.  Prayer is our primary work!
