Celebrating the dedication service of Kai and Drae Parker

On Sunday, June 19, 2016, we celebrated the dedication of Drae and Kai Parker to the Lord.  The dedication ceremony is a most significant act of faith and declaration of intent by parents to provide Christian nurture to their children.   While dedication is a worthy act, dedication does not impart salvation, because salvation requires personal commitment that each one of us must make.  This is obtained by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.  As a church family we also make a commitment to this family to encourage them as they grow together, and do all that is in our power to help them to know Jesus Christ.
