With all that is going on these days, I wanted to give a quick update. The short video below provides some context for the current conversation. Updated 05/23/20
We are online only through the end of May for sure. We will be watching for what happens over the next few days for plans beyond that.
You should know that whatever we do end up doing for gatherings in the coming week, we will have online options. So no matter where you land on this issue, you can participate as you are comfortable. We will do our best to honor the Lord while protecting one another and our community. This does include respecting our elected leaders. We do not want to rush ahead and sacrifice our witness to the community as a result. We need to get this right.
Possible Plans
Just to get you thinking about what is being planned behind the scenes, I am working on plans for some outdoor services, whether drive in or otherwise, in June. We will get back into the building as soon as it is feasible to do so. But stay tuned as the conversation is rapidly changing.
The other thing is that we are planning campfires around the tables of 8 concept. Campfires of ten might not have the same ring to it, but it could work. I'll put that out as we have the details ironed out.
