New Series: The Parables of Jesus

Tell me a story!

Tell me a story!

Stories capture our attention making them powerful teaching tools.  If you read through the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke John), you will find Jesus often teaching people using parables.  Parables provides us truth in a compelling and mind stimulating way.

Of course the parables of Jesus are stories he told that often made a lot more sense to those there at that time.  Therefore, some of them can be challenging for us to really grasp.

For 15 weeks, we are going to take a look at some of the parables of Jesus in the book of Luke.  Here are the ones we are covering:

July 30th - The Parable of the Sower (Luke 8:1-15)
August 6th - The Lamp and the Light (Luke 8:16-18, 11:33-36)
